Situated on the water facing Evans Bay The Pier boasts some of Wellington’s most picturesque sea views. Built on the Wharf it offers stunning views creating an atmosphere and ambiance that is elegant and refined.
With a capacity of up to 150 guests, the décor is contemporary including a bar, raised mezzanine floor and conservatory. The venue offers sophistication and elegance for your conference, wedding, product launch or special occasion.
Being located on an operating jetty your event guests can arrive in style via boat or the bride can make the perfect entrance by being delivered from the sea. You will be enthralled by the views surrounded by water; even in windy Wellington the drama across the bay is captivating.
The Pier is closing sometime soon for redevelopment into a residential building and will no longer be a function centre. The builders have been delayed in their plans so we can continue operating on a month to month basis at this stage. This means we can only take confirmed bookings 2 months in advance.
